Hello and welcome to the new web pages for CT Motorsport.
Car Couriers (UK) Ltd Managing Director, Chris Walsh, has been racing for over 12 years now, and following several years of racing in the North West Formula Ford Championship, we felt it would be a good idea to add a few pages dedicated to the sport and create them in the format of the “Diary of a Clubbie”.
We are not a professional team and don’t profess to be. We are, as you will see throughout the pages, a driver, a brother, a wife, a daughter and a group of close family and friends who all play their part towards putting a Formula Ford 1600 single seater race car on the track for the North West Formula Ford Championship. With that said, we do run our team as a professional outfit. The car is immaculate and the team wear uniforms. Apart from looking the part, it makes us feel good about what we are doing.
The purpose of these pages is one of fun, so anyone can take a look and see how much we do have doing what we love. Along with this, there is some good, useful information in here for anyone looking at getting into motor racing and particularly Formula Ford. It’s hard enough when your starting out and if we can impart some of the information and knowledge that we have acquired since we started in 1996, then this will be of benefit to anyone that wants to use it.
We will keep the pages updated with race reports and a "diary of the day" by the driver, Chris Walsh. Along with this, there are links to most of the sites you will find useful in the pursuit of running a race car.
